Installation is as easy as 1, 2, 3!

STEP 1

SELECT correct SofPoint® Type for your keyboard. 

Remember, you can also search our notebook database.

STEP 2

REMOVE your old cap....

Grasp the cap firmly, pull up and off of the pointing stick.

STEP 3

INSTALL SofPoint®...

Align the square cavity in the SofPoint® with the pointing stick PRESS DOWN FIRMLY.

* SofPoint® uses a totally different elastomer than your original equipment cap to get the incredible firm, "tacky" feel, while still providing a soft, comfortable cap.  Because of these characteristics the SofPoint® is a very tight fit when you push it onto the pointing stick.   This is normal!  ALIGN the cavity and the stick and PRESS FIRMLY to seat the SofPoint® in place.

To Optimize SofPoint® Performance

  In Windows Control Panel...

• SELECT Mouse Options

• SET Pointer Speed to FAST

• SET Sensitivity to LIGHT TOUCH

Replace SofPoint® every 4-6 months, more often if desired
